The Campus Europae student network, Club d’Europe, is organising a very special event for all to see. Our exchange students are tackling the issue of stereotypes of their own countries, in their own movies. On Friday (26.06) at 18:00 till 20:00 at Szósta Dzielnica (Piotrkowska 102) we are going to present a few movies that highlight some of the stereotypes or iconic elements of their nations through their own movies. This edition will see Austria and Poland tackled through the cinematic eye, with our students presenting a few words on what we’ll see, airing the movie, and then hopefully a fun discussion arising!

Please come along, and find out about some of the eccentric elements of these cultures, as well as their contrivances. We promise that it will definitely be fun, as well as interesting, for everyone!

This event is part of Club d’Europe’s project DIVE-IN. “DIVE-IN” stands for “Unity in Diversity”, that reflects the same diversity we daily get in touch with by interacting, communicating and working together in the Campus Europae network, and which recalls the European belief “All different. All Equals”.

Club d’Europe, sieć studencka należąca do organizacji Campus Europae, zaprasza na wyjątkowe wydarzenie. Nasi studenci będą omawiać problem stereotypów o ich rodzinnych państwach w filmach. W piątek, 26.06 o 18.00 zaprezentujemy kilka filmów, które podkreślają stereotypy poprzez narodowe dzieła filmowe. Druga edycja Club d’Europe Movie Night zaprezentuje Austrię oraz Polskę. Studenci Campusa Europae przedstawią Państwu fragmenty filmów i opowiedzą o swoich refleksjach. Mamy nadzieję, że zachęcimy Państwa do dyskusji.
